Entrepreneurs will be prepared according to the standard22.07.14

On April 9 there took place the Committee meeting of «OPORA ROSSII» for small and medium enterprises staff and education, where an AKKORK representativetook part.
Recommendations on development of the higher education federal state standard for the program «Business studies» were the main issue for discussion.
Moderator Jury Pesotsky, head of the «OPORA ROSSII» Committee for small and medium enterprises staff and education reminded that this issue has been discussed for a long time in «OPORA ROSII». In its time the organization established three chairs, specialized in entrepreneurs’ preparing in major Moscow higher education institutions. Those present concurred that the issue is very important, because in Russia they have been discussed for a long time, what is entrepreneurship: a profession or a state of mind.

Specialists of «OPORA ROSSII» think that for an effective development of entrepreneurship in the country along with other directions it is very important to form an entrepreneur education system. This activity area has a special meaning for our country, because in Russia unlike the countries with a developed marked-based economy the higher schools hasn’t show yet any understanding towards public needs and hasn’t occupied its place in preparation of entrepreneur staff.

«We have an action group, headed by Jury Rubin, rector of Moscow University for Industry and Finance «Synergy». This group has prepared a serious document’s project. The final aim of the work is to approve educational standard in the entrepreneurship field, which will be taken as a basis of educational system of all higher education institutions, teaching the program «Business studies», Jury Pesotsky commented on the situation.

Those present concurred that the implementation of entrepreneurship teaching programs into the activity of Russian higher education institutions and colleges will contribute to the interest increase among young people towards the entrepreneurship’s profession, forming of knowledge, skills and abilities to create and to run own business. Besides vocational education in the business system help form a civilized entrepreneurship in Russia that is of a great need in our country.

«It’s been 23 years since they have taken this shameful 23rd article from the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which proclaimed entrepreneurship an illegal activity, But academic and entrepreneur sphere still can’t form a clear position how to teach qualified businessmen, who possess necessary skills», - Jury Rubin told.

In this regard «OPORA ROSSII» thinks that it’s necessary to work on forming the entrepreneur education systemin the country. «OPORA ROSSII» together with the National association for entrepreneurship teaching and with some leading Russian higher education institutions develop educational standard of higher education for the program «Business studies», competence-based model of a successful entrepreneur, standard educational programs and training courses, requirements for the programs’ audience and for teaching staff.

«I would like to say, that nowadays there exist many examples of entrepreneurship training in our country. Business community itself contributes to it actively». For example, «OPORA ROSSII» takes part in such edgy processes as professional and public accreditation, on working with the higher education institutions, on encouraging the establishing of entrepreneurship centers’ chairs. As the world experience shows, at the same time there has to be an educational platform in the country. The movement leads from entrepreneurs’ training to entrepreneur education system. Without it isn’t possible to form a civilized entrepreneur culture», Jury Borisovich continued.

He was actively supported by Susan Fiorito, who was present at the meeting, professor, head of chair for Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Informational technologies of the Florida University:
«In the USA they have understood it long ago, that education and entrepreneurship are part and parcel. Cooperation between higher education institutions and entrepreneurs is a mutually beneficial process. They get fresh ideas and exchange experience».
