Expertise procedure:

Initial review in AKKORK:

 

  1. Submission of the Application for undergoing the expertise procedure
  2. Conducting a seminar for UNIVERSITY/ACADEMY/INSTITUTE staff on the self-assessment methodics
  3. Preparation by the University/ academy / institute a self-assessment report and it's submission to AKKORK.
  4. Creation of the experts panels from the most authoritative specialists from the academic community, employers associations, and students organizations.
  5. Preparation and conduct of the expert panel visit to the University/ academy / institute
  6. Preparation of the report by the experts
  7. Sending of this report to the University/ academy / institute for feedback from the University/ academy / institute.
  8. Correction of the report (if needed) according to this feedback.
  9. Submission of the expert's reports to the AKKORK Advisory council.
  10. If the University/ academy / institute wants to receive not only the review report but AKKORK accreditation, than after Advisory council the reports are submitted to the Accreditation council.

Assessment of the University/ academy / institute entrants preparation quality

The desire of the University/ academy / institute to ensure the quality of education not only due to the level of the educational process organization and the quality of educational resources, but also due to a selection for study the prospective students from among the most qualified applicants.


 

External review of quality assurance is performed by special panels of certified experts from among the staff of universities and academic institutions, employers organizations, student organizations. Independence, impartiality and professionalism of the experts is guaranteed by internal systems and procedures of AKKORK.

The best solution for educational institutions is to cooperate with AKKORK on the long term basis, in which the program accreditation and accreditation of the university as a whole could be done on a regular basis when the term the previous accreditation ends.

AKKORK interaction with educational institutions on a regular basis helps universities/academies/institutes to continually improve their operations and comply with European standards. In accordance with the principles of the Bologna Declaration assessment of education quality is dynamic, not static. It is continuous process. AKKORK recommends to undergo the procedure of assessing the education quality on a regular basis, as it allows an institution to timely detect and remove bottlenecks in the learning outcomes quality provision, the effectiveness of management and educational processes. With regular interaction with the university / academy/ institute  AKKORK can take into account the progress made by the university / academy/ institute in order to improve the quality of education, reflect the emerging positive trends, have a more complete picture of the educational programs realization, the development of the  education quality management system (SEQM).
