“Education quality assurance: face-to-face VS distance learning” workshop in the HSE Training Center - St. Petersburg.
On November 16 - 18, Erika Soboleva, Director General of AKKORK, took part as a keynote speaker and expert at the workshop “Education quality assurance: face-to-face VS distance learning” organized by the Leadership Training Center of the Higher School of Economics - Saint Petersburg as part of the Best University Practices section.

The workshop is an ongoing event for heads of educational organizations and is a follow-up to a series of webinars on education quality assurance that were held online in May and July.

Now participants had the opportunity to meet with the Director of AKKORK in person, to practice the techniques received and to discuss fresh cases during the 3 days of full-time training.

This professional development program is aimed at resolving problems that are important for universities in the context of the transformation of the education system in 2020:

  • audit of training programs quality assessment technologies;
  • adoption of up-to-date Russian and international standards of quality assessment;
  • creation of a quality management system for distance learning programs.
Target audience of the workshop:

  • Vice-Rectors for educational activities;
  • Heads of departments/divisions of Teaching and Learning;
  • Persons in charge of the State Accreditation of educational programs;
  • Deans, Heads of chairs;
  • Heads of educational programs.
The next seminar, to be held December 14 - 16, 2020, will focus on distance learning programs, the development of which is crucial for universities in 2020.

  • European, global and Russian standards of education quality assessment
  • Internal Quality Assessment of Higher Education: Theory and Practice
  • Quality management of distance learning (practice of completing a selfevaluation report on distance learning program evaluation; practice of expert evaluation of a distance learning program)
